The First Cross Country Quilt Shop Quest Giveaway!

As we’ve traveled across the US visiting quilt shops along the way, we’ve been amazed by the wonderful variety of fabrics we’ve seen. Each quilt shop has featured a new delight. We’ve marveled at rich rainbows of batiks, chuckled at clever novelties, relished charming reproductions, admired unique contemporary prints, and reached out to touch cuddly flannels.

Now, it’s your turn. As we’ve traveled, we’ve collected a fat quarter from each shop we’ve visited. And you can win a bundle of 10 fabulous fat quarters from the first leg of The Cross Country Quilt Shop Quest.

Gina’s Bernina in Knoxville, TN, is much more than a Bernina dealer. The fabric and notions cover two big rooms. They also carry an extensive line of children’s heirloom sewing supplies.

  8. Gail says:

My favorite shop is Burkholders in Denver, PA. The first time I was there I wondered why anyone would need a shopping cart in a quilt store. Five minutes later I went and got one for myself. Soooo much to choose from!

  9. Connie Burlingame says:

A favorite quilt shop is Mary Joe’s Cloth Store in Gastonia NC. The fabric is so well organized that it is easy to find what you might be wanting. Fabric is categorized by subject – floral, animal, polka dot, stripes… They also have collections like “fusions” together by pattern. So large that it can be overwhelming but I have trouble making a trip near Charlotte without stopping.

  10. Liz A. says:

My favorite shop is Running Stitch Fabrics in Kent, Washington. Alice has a great selection of traditional and modern fabrics along with a wall of batiks. She’s always ready to help or answer questions and loves for us to bring in show & tell items.
