The recent events in Connecticut have touched everyone across the nation. A horrific tragedy, but it has also brought out many heroes, a demand for change, and a desire to help others. Here is your chance to help.
Joan Ford from Scrap Therapy is asking for quilts to give to people in the community of Newtown. A “hug” to help them through this difficult time. If you have a quilt that you could donate please click on Scrap Therapy’s link for information on where to send it.

Dogwood B.O.M. ~ Emily T. ~ Spokane, WA
Emily made this beautiful quilt for Natalie, a former employee at WRBQ Inc. The quilt pattern and top fabric is a B.O.M. from Cozy Quilt Shop in Spokane, WA. The fabric for the backing was purchased from Fabric Depot in Portland, OR and The Quilting Bee in Spokane, WA. Emily started the quilt at a retreat in 2011, and finished the appliqué (the “A” word!) in 2012. Emily quilted this with trailing leaves which complement the quilt’s floral beauty. Needless to say, Natalie loved the quilt, and so do we!
